Facility Technician

Summary/Objective

DD DANNAR, LLC, is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of a mobile, off-road energy platform that is the first in a new class of hybrid-electric work vehicles. We are looking for a Facility Technician to be responsible for keeping our facility in top condition.

Essential Functions:

• Cleaning of all restrooms and resupplying dispensers; cleaning and sanitizing toilets, urinals, sinks, partitions, and floor daily.
• Empty trash cans daily in all areas.
• Mop floors in the break room weekly or as needed in the event of a spill or weather.
• Wipe down countertops in the break room daily, and keep coffee and food stains cleaned up.
• Clean/wipe down microwaves weekly.
• Clean refrigerator weekly.
• Sweep carpeted areas of the office as needed, but no less than twice per week.
• Dust mop showroom/entry as needed, but no less than twice per week.
• Dust mop production area as needed, but no less than once per week.
• Clean all windows in the interior offices/conference rooms once per week.
• Clean exterior of windows on the building twice per year, or as needed.
• Replace light bulbs/tubes as needed.
• Clean conference room tables as needed, but no less than once per week.
• Clean all work surfaces in offices as needed, but no less than once per week.
• Maintenance of beds along the outside of the building, including weeding and watering as needed.
• During winter keep sidewalks clear of snow and ice, apply salt as needed to create a non-slip condition. Must be completed before staff arrive.
• Be able to assist in the diagnosis of issues with items such as HVAC and plumbing.
• Work with contractors assigned to work on the systems in the building.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

•   Knowledge of cleaning tools such as mops, floor buffers, and cleaning chemicals.

Required education and experience:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with using cleaning equipment, including but not limited to vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning solutions.
• Background/knowledge in handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals. Safety when using and mixing and cleaning supplies, such as eye and skin protection.  Breathing of such supplies.  Disposal of such supplies.  Follow instructions in accordance with product MSDS.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures
• Knowledge of occupational hazards safety rules
• Communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders and work at particular heights.
• Lean Six Sigma Training – Yellow belt certification minimum (can be obtained post hire).

Preferred education and experience:

• Electrical knowledge
• Mechanical knowledge

Authorized to work in United States.
