Senior Staff Accountant
Summary/Objective
DANNAR, Inc., is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of a mobile, off-road energy platform that is the first in a new class of hybrid-electric work vehicles. We are looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.

Essential Functions:

Performs general and cost accounting and other related duties for the organization.

Tracking and recording financial transactions in the general ledger.

Preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.

Matching bank statements to company records to identify discrepancies.

Processing invoices, managing payments to vendors and collecting customer payments.
-
Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.

Assisting with payroll calculations and tax deductions.

Preparing tax documents and filings.
-
Supporting internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
-
Adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulations.

Maintains accurate accounting record of inventory system.
-
Analyzing financial data to identify trends and potential issues.
-
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Required education and experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
-
3+ years experience in the accounting department conducting general accounting duties, heavily in cash accounting.

Experience using accounting software, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F & O in manufacturing environment preferred.

Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification minimum (can be obtained post-hire)
Preferred education and experience:
-
MBA or Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance

5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Accounting
-
Expert in MS Dynamics365.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
Work authorization/security clearance requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States
