Materials Specialist

Summary/Objective

DD DANNAR, LLC, is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of a mobile, off-road energy platform that is the first in a new class of hybrid-electric work vehicles. We are looking for a Materials Specialist who will be responsible for the management of the production orders, inventory control, and appropriate documents.

Essential Functions:

  • Directs production planning and scheduling based on sales forecasts and available capacity. Works to assure Production BOM’s based on Engineering BOM’s are correct for build and driving correctly in ERP system.
  • Manages the Production Order Pick List process including data entry
  • Responsible for ERP completion of all Production Orders tied to Sales Orders, all subassembly production orders, service orders, and remanufacturing activities tied to production order management.
  • Manages shortage list and provides inventory reports as needed
  • Coordinates cross-functionally to achieve a Plan For Every Part (PFEP)
  • Maintains and ensures accuracy of the perpetual inventory system including but not limited to managing the cycle count program.
  • Assists with the master data input for inventory items.
  • Verifies Material Dispositions have been vetted prior to being submitted for appropriate approvals as defined. Investigation should be completed timely and supporting detail along with needed documents should be provided for sign-off approvals. Confirms Finance has made approved inventory adjustments by monitoring system counts or returned documents to show completion of cycle in a timely manner. 10%
  • Works with Finance to assist in establishing procedures and processes for annual physical inventory and other work as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Required education and experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent required.
    • Five (5) plus years of experience in materials controls field, preferably in manufacturing.
    • Lean Six Sigma Training – Yellow Belt Certification minimum

    Preferred education and experience:

    • Master’s Degree MBA
    • CPIM or other related certification
    • Lean Six Sigma Training – Green Belt Certification

    Work authorization/security clearance requirements:

    Authorized to work in United States.
